Client Linux Mac Android IOS

The LiteManager client for Linux, Mac, Android and IOS platforms basically repeats the functionality of the basic Windows version, but has differences in interface and design due to platform features. We tried to combine all the components of the program into one application such as LM Viewer, LM Server and NOIP.
The main window has the LM Viewer functionality, the settings also relate to the client module, LM Server and all its settings are placed separately on the LM Server tab and all its settings differ from the main settings on the Settings tab, for example, the Connection settings by ID on the Settings tab relate to the main application, and the settings on the LM Server tab similarly, the Connection by ID already refers only to the part of the LM Server, which can cause some confusion, but at the same time allows you to clearly separate two different modules of the program that are now combined into one application. NOIP is also a separate window in this application, on the Help tab, there is a NOIP button that allows you to access the functionality of the NOIP server, its settings are also stored in separate data and are not associated with the main application.

Most windows repeat the familiar interface of the program for the Windows platform, so their description for experienced users is not required to be familiar with the basic Windows version, while there are certain differences and additional settings that have been added for this mobile version of the program, they will be described separately below.

Main window

Main page

To quickly connect to a remote computer, you need to specify its IP address or ID.
ID/IP - a field for specifying the IP address or ID of the remote computer.
Pass - the password from the LM Server to connect to a remote PC. The password can be seen if you check the box next to it, this is convenient for the mobile version.
<> - connection history, you can select the previously specified address or ID from the list.
PIN - PIN code in case of connection by ID.
Connect - connect to a remote computer. Establishes a network connection with a remote PC, the connection status will be indicated in the line below.
In the drop-down list, you can select the connection mode screen control, viewing, file transfer, etc.

Use IP (DNS name) - the option means that the IP address or DNS name of the remote computer is entered in the field, not the ID. This is necessary so that there is no confusion between the connection ID and the connection directly by the PC name, since sometimes they can coincide. The program tries to automatically recognize what is entered in the connection field.

Contacts

In the contacts window, you can see and create an address book, contacts are added to the New contact button, you can View/edit the contact or delete it. For convenience, existing contacts from the basic version for Windows can be imported or synchronized in the standard way for LiteManager.

A choice of operating mode is available in the drop-down list, for example, on-screen controls, files, etc. The Authorization and authorization cancellation functions are placed in a separate drop-down list (...).
Highlight the connection in the list and click Connect.

Device options - settings related to the features of the platform or this application, these are unique settings that are not present in the basic version of the program for Windows platform.

Sometimes there are problems with the correct position of some buttons on the form, enabling this option should solve the problem, although the form elements will not scale their position.

Users familiar with the basic version will not have much difficulty working with the version for other platforms.
For undisclosed questions, you can contact us for support or try to find an answer on our website in the help and instructions for the basic version of the program.
