so, is there a way to view your servers from two different computers? if i am at work and use it there, then when i get home, there will be no servers in my litemanager at home. How do you fix this?

1. Export all contacts from one viewer and import it in another viewer.
Viewer main menu - Tools - Export or Import connections.

2. If you have a lot of computers and viewers in your corporate network, use an address books synchronization

one more thing, how do most send the msi to install, i have tried it via email and the mail servers seem to squash it and not send it. i guess i could use dropbox or drive but any ideas?

Try to compress it in zip file with password protection, but I not sure that it help...

i tried compressing and zipping and still no go. But, dropbox will send a link to the dropbox location and the person you send it to does not have to login or anything, they simply download the installer. You have a nice program here, seems to work pretty good. im still in trial but will most likely buy it.

i dont understand the differences between this and your helpdesk license and the website doesnt really show anything but hot to buy it. Does the helpdesk have the same functions as litemanger?

Yes.

Standard license

The cost of LiteManager is calculated based on the number of required licenses, 1 license – 1 controlled computer. If you have 10 computers, you need to purchase a license key for 10 licenses, if 100 computers – 100 licenses.


HelpDesk license is based on the number of active channels (connections), the number of server and client modules is not limited.

One active channel is equal to one active contact in the contact list, which can be remotely controlled simultaneously in several modes. HelpDesk license can be used on multiple Viewers simultaneously, and each Viewer will have one (or more) active channel (contact).

ok, i get that but what does the help desk do differently? Would i not need server licenses?

try a HelpDesk test key on 1 active channel (connection)

If you have a file syncing tool (you mentioned using dropbox) you can use the portable version of the viewer and store the folder in a synced location. Then as long as you close the viewer on the device at the office you will be able to open it at home. This way any changes are synced as well.
